Hello dear followers!
I am very excited to share with you my first experience with the Strobist wedding photo shoot meet-up.
It was through Johan dut Toit Photography that I came to learn more about the Strobist London meet-ups (a group of photographers that organise meet-ups in order to network with other creative professionals and build their portfolios). As a great networker, Johan du Toit put me in contact with another talented photographer, Ghene Snowdon, who organised this wedding photo shoot at St Mary’s Church, in South Woodford on the 19th of February 2011.
Ghene invited me to do the make-up for a couple of models and the experience was fantastic! I met some new photographers, models and got to explore a new area, South Woodford… St Mary’s Church is a cold venue but very cute, the photographers made the most of its spaces and furniture to create excellent images!
See pictures below:
The two models, above, are gorgeous and fun people who I enjoyed working with!
Yaasmin has very nice features and the smoky eyes suits her, enhancing her beautiful dark eyes. Mikael is also a great professional and I didn’t have to use a lot of make-up on him as the idea was to create a very natural look, and it worked!!! They are both very photogenic and have everything to grow in their modelling career.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post, I look forward to hearing what you think in the comments below. 🙂
See you next week.
